The Vexed Cast Iron was developed by Pwilly after decades of land-based fishing along the rugged west coast of Australia.

Designed from the ground up, Vexed set out to create a casting metal that delivers in every aspect—longer casting distance, superior in-water action, ultra-realistic baitfish patterns inspired by Australian waters, and enhanced durability against sharp rocks and aggressive, toothy species. To achieve this, the Cast Iron is constructed from zinc rather than lead, offering increased toughness without compromising performance.

The Cast Iron is available in two purpose-built configurations:
        •       Cast Spec – Designed for casting and rapid retrieves, featuring a rear treble hook for maximum hook-up rates on fast-moving fish.
        • Shore Jigging Spec – Equipped with a front assist hook and rear single, ideal for working deeper water. Perfect for shore jigging over rock ledges and steep drop-offs, allowing you to effectively cover the entire water column—from bottom-dwelling species to pelagics.
